Central Government Scheme Merit cum Means Based Scholarship for Students Belonging to the Minorities Communities
Applications in the prescribed format are invited from the students belonging to minority communities (Muslims, Christians, Sikh, Parsi & Buddhists) pursuing technical or professional courses at Under Graduate/Post Graduate level in an institution recognized by an appropriate authority, for merit-cum means based scholarship to be awarded by the Ministry of Minority Affairs, Government of India. Eligibility Criteria

The annual family income of the beneficiary/parent or guardian of the beneficiary should not exceed Rs 2.50 lakhs per annum from all sources |

student residing in a particular State/UT will be entitled for scholarship under the quota of that State/UT only irrespective of his place of study |

Students who are studying in (50) top listed Institutions
are eligible for full course fee and also given First priority. |
| 5 |
Students studying in institutions other than (50) Institutions referred to at (4) above are eligible for course fee of Rs 20,000/- per annum or actual whichever is less |
| 6 |
867 no of candidates will be selected on the basis of applications received in each course |
| 7 |
30% of the money is earmarked for girl students |
| 8 |
Student should not avail any other scholarship in that year |
How to Apply
Applications in the prescribed format may be submitted to the VC & Managing Director, AP State Minorities Finance Corporation Ltd., 5th Floor, Haj House, Opp Public Gardens, Nampally, Hyderabad 500001, along-with enclosures (Attested Xerox copies of the Certificates) through the institutions where the students are pursuing technical / professional courses.
